The sensational Sanibel beach with it's pristine white beach and crystal clear turquoise water is as beautiful as any in Florida. This certainly ranks as one of my top 10 Florida beaches.
When it comes to the Southwest Florida beaches, it's going to be hard to select the best beaches - they're all the best with their individual characteristics.
Bowman's Beach - Sanibel Island Photos
You'll see the Bowman's Beach sign on Sanibel-Captiva Road about 500 yards before the left turn to go to the park. The beach and the entire setting are natural and beautiful. After arriving at the park, you'll need to pay at the pay station. The cost is $2.00 per hour. Don't forget!
Make sure you bring water or other drinks and food with you in a cooler. It's also helpful to bring a dolly or handtruck to carry the cooler. It's a long walk to the beach.

Bailey Matthews Shell MuseumNo trip to this area of the island would be complete without stopping at the Bailey Matthews Shell Museum. It's really informative and fascinating. We loved it! 
Make sure to stop and see all the sea shells. They're amazing!
