Organised religions are frameworks, encompassing theological theories about the nature of the divine, usually represented as absolute truths, and rules about approaching and incorporating the divine into one life, usually predicting dire consequences if these rules are not adhered to. The most important thing to understand about organised religions is that they have to keep their institutions alive and as such it is within their best interest to stipulate worship through their facilities, using their people. The need to be needed in order to survive must prevail, because otherwise, they will cease to exist.

From Alberta Government Press Release;Designs for the new Royal Alberta Museum are in and Albertans are invited to take a first hand look and comment on their favourite. The new Royal Alberta Museum belongs to all Albertans, said Ray Danyluk, Minister of Infrastructure. It represents who we are, have been and will be. This is why it s important Albertans get an opportunity to see what their new museum may look like and to share their comments on the designs with us. Albertans are invited to view and comment on the designs until August 24. The exterior design of the new Royal Alberta Museum must be such as to compel Albertans and our guests to visit and experience the facility for the first time, said Lindsay Blackett, Minister of Culture and Community Spirit. Inside, the province s treasures and the spirit of discovery will spark their desire to return time and again. Public comments received via the website will be collected and submitted to an expert review panel along with the project proposals submitted by each design build team. The expert review panel will evaluate the design build teams and their proposals based on design, ability to deliver the project, and on the best value offered for the budget.
