Open for lunch and dinner. Dinner entre prices range from $13.95 for the Compeche Fish Tacos, which are wonderful, to $24.95 for the Achoate Grilled Grouper. My favorite dish, though, is the Dry Rubbed Rib Eye. It's to die for. All in a great family atmosphere. Great drinks too! This location of the Lazy Flamingo is in a very beachy section, known as Santiva, because of it's close proximity to Captiva. ALSO 1036 Periwinkle Way Sanibel, FL 33957 239-472-6939 Same great food and service. Close to the Sanibel Causeway. I love all 3 Lazy Flamingos. Every dish they serve is great. I just love the way they prepare the fried calamari. It's yummy. So are their burgers and chicken fingers. The Lazy Flamingo in Bokelia on Pine Island is closest to our home and is the only one of the three directly on the water, so you can go by boat, which we frequently do. They also have a pet friendly patio, making it nice if you like to take your pooch for a morning or afternoon walk. It's the only restaurant that I'm aware of, with a pet friendly area. Schnapper's Hots1528 Periwinkle WaySanibel, FL 33957 239-472-8686 Wonderful burgers, fries, hot dogs, pizza and ice cream. Widely regarded as having the best hot dogs anywhere.
